The Human Kind Collective
Empowering Change, Building Community Care
We are dedicated to providing compassionate street outreach and transitional housing resources in order to bridge gaps in the behavioral healthcare industry.
HOPE IS THE ONLY THING STRONGER THAN FEAR
To provide local street outreach services, temporary housing assistance, advocacy, and suicide prevention resources for people facing homelessness, mental health struggles, and crisis situations.
Our Mission
Our Services
Street Outreach
We meet people where they are without judgment or expecting change. Our Certified Peer and Family Specialists are trained in suicide prevention and crisis response. They build trust over time and connect people to food, safety, healthcare, and dignity.
Transitional Housing Support
We assist in finding temporary, safe housing while working towards next steps. Certified Peer and Family Specialists assist with options, applications, and move-in.
Suicide Awareness
Resources & Events
Access local suicide prevention helplines and immediate help. Community wellness workshops, awareness walks, and connection events designed to break the stigma around mental health.
Advocacy
We stand alongside community members when it's hard for them to be understood. Our Certified Peer and Family Specialists advocate alongside community members in courtrooms, hospitals, social services offices, and anywhere a voice deserves to be heard.
The Peer Recovery Coach Guide
The Heart of Peer-to-Peer Support
A Peer Recovery Coach (CPFS) is a professional who draws from their own lived experience in recovery to provide non-clinical support. At The Human Kind Collective, we believe that those who have walked the path of recovery are uniquely equipped to foster hope, build trust, and help others navigate the challenges of behavioral health and homelessness.
Mental Health & Recovery
Assisting community members in navigating mental health services and recovery planning through emotional support and peer connection.
Street Outreach
Connecting those experiencing homelessness to food, safety, and hygiene items while building trust and bridging gaps in care.
Community Advocacy
Acting as a voice for community members in courtrooms, social service offices, and medical systems to ensure they are heard.
